Terms of Service

These plain-language terms govern your use of IntelliPOS. By using the service you agree to them. Questions: hello@intellipos.io.

1. The service

IntelliPOS is a point-of-sale and shop-management platform provided as software-as-a-service. We add and improve features over time; some are on the roadmap and not yet available, and we'll be clear about what's live.

2. Accounts & access

Access is currently invitation-only. Accounts are created either by our team or by a business owner inviting staff. You're responsible for keeping your login and staff PINs confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use IntelliPOS for your own legitimate retail/business operations.
  • Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform or other businesses' data.
  • Don't use it for anything unlawful.

4. Your data

Your shop's data belongs to you. You can export it (CSV built in; full export on request) and you can ask us to delete it. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability

We work hard to keep the service running and to protect your data, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Maintenance and occasional outages happen. The platform is offline-tolerant by design, so the till can keep selling through a network drop and sync afterwards.

6. Billing

While we onboard our first shops, pricing is arranged directly with you — see Pricing. When paid subscriptions go live, fees, billing cycle and cancellation terms will be presented before you're charged, and you'll be able to cancel — there's no long-term lock-in.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the platform or other users at risk. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data.

8. Liability

IntelliPOS is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from outages, third-party providers, or your own misconfiguration. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify account owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
