Selling with no internet
How the till keeps working — and syncs safely when you reconnect.
This is what sets IntelliPOS apart: the till keeps selling when the internet drops, and everything syncs when you're back — nothing lost, nothing charged twice.
What you'll see
When the connection drops, an amber banner appears and sales show a small "to sync" chip. That's the only difference — every button is in the same place and works the same. Watch a real one — the connection is cut mid-shift, and the sale rings exactly the same, with the receipt marked "offline copy · will sync":
What still works offline
- Ringing sales and taking cash payment
- Attaching a customer and selling on customer credit
- Opening tables, taking orders, printing bills and kitchen tickets
- Parking and recalling carts
- Your cash drawer and closing your shift
When you reconnect
Everything you did offline drains to the server automatically, in the right order. If anything genuinely needs your attention, IntelliPOS shows it clearly — it never fails silently.
Good to know: a payment that needs a live connection (like a card-reader charge) is simply hidden while offline and comes back when you reconnect — you're never stuck at a dead end.
