Receipts & printing
Printing, reprinting, and sending a receipt to the customer by WhatsApp, email or text.
Printing
Turn on Print receipt automatically (Settings → Receipts & printing) and the receipt prints the moment a sale is paid — it's off until you switch it on. Otherwise tap Print on the receipt card. On the installed app the printer is driven directly for a clean, cut-to-size slip every time.
Reprint
Open Recent receipts (from the account menu on the till) or the Sales list in the dashboard, find the sale, and tap Reprint. A reprint is clearly marked as a copy.
Send it to the customer
One tap: the moment a sale completes, the receipt card that pops up has a Send button. The same button lives on the full receipt page, so it works on any past receipt too. Nothing to install on the till, no share windows, and no login needed on the customer's side. There are three ways it can go out:
- WhatsApp — the exact receipt arrives in their chat as a picture, sent from the IntelliPOS number.
- Email — the receipt is attached so they can keep it, and it arrives in your shop's name, not ours.
- Text — a short message with a private link to that exact receipt (where text messaging is available for your country).
You choose which of these your cashiers are offered at Settings → Receipts & printing → How customers get their receipt. Shops outside the US and Canada start with WhatsApp only; US and Canadian shops start with email and text, which is what customers there expect at the counter. Turn any of them on or off whenever you like — the change reaches every till at once.
If the customer is already saved in your customer list, their number or address fills in by itself. And when a cashier types an email for a saved customer who didn't have one, it is remembered — so nobody is ever asked twice.
Offline? The receipt is captured on the till and sends itself the moment the connection returns — the button says so honestly while you wait, whichever way you chose. (Prefer a PDF from your own phone? A quiet "share manually" option stays underneath the WhatsApp option.)
What's on the slip
- A to-go order prints its calling number big at the top.
- A shop with loyalty on prints the points earned and the new balance.
- A reprint after a refund shows what came back (a credit note).
- Dates follow your country's format.
Gift receipt
On the till, + More → Gift receipt prints the same slip without prices — online or offline.
Bills & kitchen tickets (restaurants/cafés)
The table bill and the kitchen ticket print the same clean, thermal way as a receipt — on the installed app they print silently to the right printer, never a long blank page.
